Cat behavior problems now have a new revolutionary treatment that is reshaping the way they are addressed. Cat spraying and inappropriate elimination are the #1 feline behavior problems, and they have been tackled in every way imaginable. From perfumed litter, to artificial pheromones, this had proved an aggravating and intransigent problem that results in millions of cats every year being euthanized.

Cat spraying resolved- we have the technology
Now, for the first time, we have a simple, easy to use  technology to be able to treat this problem, naturally and safely using the extraordinary substances known as flower essences- all natural substances that work only on the emotional level without any unwanted side effects whatsoever.  Bottled Blessings spent over three years developing these formulas  before introducing them  to the public in 2003. Here’s how No Spray works…

Put ½ dropper in water dish every day. Change water every day, add more. THAT’S IT!!!

Now, here’s what we know about the results of using our formulas, and five years of feedback:

• Using our formula as soon as the problem starts improves the results, because the behavior hasn’t become ingrained- it’s not a habit!!!
• Most of the time (about 70-80%) spraying starts because of another cat- seen or not seen- but smelt.
• We do not recommend this for cats that have been spraying over five years, or for unneutered/unsprayed cats. In the first case because the behavior is ingrained, and the second case, because you will never find a natural substance to counteract hormones- Nature doesn’t work that way!
• For extreme cases or for long term cases start doubling the dose right away.  Formulas do not affect other pets if they don’t have the problem, even if they drink from the same bowl.

Changes are subtle. Always look for a change in the behavior pattern. For example, say a cat sprayed its special spot three times a day, especially when a certain child left for school, the mailman came and went, or a neighbor stopped by.  Let’s say he started spraying when you brought home another cat.

After you start using No Spray for two weeks, the mailman comes and goes and Fluffy no longer sprays his special spot.  Another month goes by, and the neighbor can now stop in without the cat saying goodbye in its own special way.  Finally the child whom the cat hates can now come and go without repercussions from the cat.

Cat Spraying and Anxiety
Now all of this is an extreme example, but illustrates what we are trying to say- we look for changes in the behavior pattern.  Spraying is a natural cat behavior, advertising something as “mine”. The response is elicited in domestic cats when they feel threatened, and a number of emotional triggers can do this:

• Another cat who doesn’t get along with yours
• A tom who is advertising outside (look for spraying on front doors, etc)
• A new relationship of yours eliciting jealousy
• Sometimes simple anger response, such as returning to work outside the home, etc.
• Stress
• Dominance

All of these are perceived as, or a result of, a threat to resources.  This emotional response can be safely and naturally altered by the correct use of flower essences- all natural substances that work strictly on the emotional level without any side effects.

Does No Spray work all the time?
What do you mean by all the time? We have found that response to our formula has in general followed a typical bell curve. Some cats get 100% relief right away. They are not typical. Some cats get 100% in a few months of use. Some cats only get 80% reduction in behavior.

We can say with confidence that 80% of cats get 70-90% reduction in spraying in one to four months of treatment.
Some cats never see any improvement.

Changes are permanent in the sense that you don’t have to use it for the life of your cat, but we recommend using them again for aggravating events, such as the death of a cat when the hierarchy gets reshuffled, the addition of another cat, or if another tom comes around or before a move.

So what do we recommend?
There is no right or wrong way to use our formulas. There are easy and more difficult ways, there are ways that are efficient and ways that are wasteful.  What we usually recommend is what we stated before:

• ½ dropper in water dish changed daily. The water dish should hold 2-3 cups of water. We recommend distilled water since pollution reduces potency.
• You can sequester culprits and just dose that water bowl.
• You can also orally dose. In this case, you can add 3-4 drops of formula in a plastic dropper and give once a day. This does not work on all cats, and may back fire.
• You can put 3-4 drops in the back of ears, but this works slowly and can be awkward with multiple formulas.

If your cat started when you brought another cat home, or because of another cat, add New Kitt and use the same way. New Kitty is a natural compliment to No Spray and they both work together terrifically. Sometimes we just recommend the New Kitty. If you have many cats, add Pet Stress Relief. 

No Substitute for Common Sense
Of course, if you get another cat be sure to add litter boxes, additional food bowls, etc. Many modern experts have elaborate rituals to introduce them as well.  We recommend starting your cat on New Kitty a week before, and following the prevailing suggestions.
Obviously no formula works if the cats are kept in horrific, overcrowded and unsanitary conditions. In this case, don’t bother buying our product and do find loving homes for the cats.

The best way to treat this problem is to prevent it from happening in the first place.  Know your limits, and stick to them.  Cats need food, water, clean litter boxes, a happy place, sunshine, play and affection. To deprive your cat of any of these is not helping the whole of your cat.
